Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mist & Serum Launch in Toronto

two years ago on my 2022 vision board i put the summer fridays logo in hopes of manifesting working with them in some capacity. and last week, my dream came true.

one thing i love about summer fridays is that they are a community driven brand. founded by bloggers and influencers marianna hewitt and lauren ireland in 2018, they are a skincare and beauty brand that actually listens to their community in all aspects of the business.

being as this is my first ever brand event that i was invited to was exciting but being as it was for the summer fridays canadian launch of the jet lag skin soothing hydration mist and the jet lag deep hydration serum made the whole experience extra special.

heading into daphne in downtown toronto i wasn’t really sure what to expect but i was just excited to be there. we headed to a private room in the back of the restaurant which was really intimate and provided everyone a chance to mingle with fellow summer fridays lovers and content creators.

the food and the drinks were amazing. something i loved about this event is that they also provided mocktail options that were actually good in addition to their cocktails. i’ve been following marianna hewitt for awhile and i know that she has been sober for over a year now and makes an effort to have great mocktail options at summer fridays events. everything from the cocktail napkins to the labels on the glass bottles of water was branded and i wouldn’t expect anything less.

by far my favourite part of the night was being able to speak to the SF team, specifically lauren ireland, kim natale, and caitlin espinoza. while speaking to them, you could just tell that they genuinely wanted to hear what we had to say and valued our opinion. when asked by lauren what products we wanted to see SF come out with in the future, she had her notes app on her phone and was making note of everything we had to say. being surrounded by so many talented and genuine people tonight made my little heart feel so warm and if i wasn’t already such a huge fan of summer fridays, after this event i am definitely a hardcore stan.
