qorel: logo design

OVERVIEW
Part one of a complete brand strategy and launch. Logo design to be followed by Qorel's brand strategy. Tasked with design a new logo for Qorel Software Inc, a full suite of affordable digital software as a result of the (fictional) merger between Corel and Quark. This fictional merger required a new logo to be designed that would fully encompass the attributes and best represent both companies. The brandmark logo represents a fresh dollop of paint on a painter's palette symbolizing the beginning of a new painting. Similar to this idea, Qorel as a brand represents a new beginning of endless creative possibilities that can be created with their products.
